There is more progress being made at the house! Last weekend, I spent some time writing God's Word on the 'doorposts' of our house. We never dreamed we would build a house, let alone one that really reflects our love for the Arts & Crafts style...God is good.

Emma and Bree wrote some 'stuff' of their own :) |
The activity at the house this week included insulation and shingles! What a difference it makes putting shingles on a house! I am really happy with the color (its so hard to know picking it out from a small swatch!).

Door way from the garage into my mudroom. |

Emma and Bree's room. Emma kept commenting on how much 'homier' the house felt. |

The girls have been begging Shane to put them in these wire bins every time we go to the house...Emma is pretending to be captured! I am assuming these will be used when pouring the driveway. |
My appliances also arrived, we ended up storing them at my builder's warehouse since they aren't ready for them at the house.
Today, more work on the roof was done, and a crew was there prepping the house for the stone. They will be back on Wednesday to lay the stone. When Shane stopped by after work, he ran into the drywaller, who said he will begin on Monday. He also said he lives in Fallbrook too and that we will love the neighborhood! We are getting pretty excited to explore it! When the girls and I drove thru today there were kids playing down at the stream and others having a lemonade stand :)

We also sat down with our builders this week to go over timeline and budget. Looks like July 15th is our new close date we are shooting for (It was June 13th, then June 24th). Shane will actually be gone the 15th climbing a mountain in Colorado, so we will probably have to push it to the 16th, or before the 15th if possible.
It feels good to finally feel like this show is on the road...God is good!!!
